Very unprofessional treatment by associate Brian

Went to close an IRA CD - their renewal rates suck. Have done this multiple times in the past 6 months. The associate informs us that they would be withholding a 10% penalty - Wrong! Not if you reinvest in another IRA CD (which we would be with another bank).

When I tried to explain that he was wrong he became irate and said, "Take your stuff and get out of my bank." Totally unprofessional. Called me an idiot. Other customers in the bank were appalled. One young man even came over to us and told Brian that he would be taking his business to another bank, because of the way he spoke to us. Filed a formal complaint with Bank of America corporate. We will be closing all of our other accounts.

    Worst Bank in Flagler County!

The Belle Terre branch of Bank of America has been the worst bank I've ever dealt with in my life, and it stands in stark contrast to all the other banks in the area.

My work has me dealing with the major banks at least once a month, as our clients have accounts at Bank of America, PNC, Wells Fargo, SunTrust, and VyStar. Those last four banks have local branches with employees who are friendly, courteous, respectful and very attentive... employees who address their customers by their names, and who express a sincere interest in them.

Bank of America, on the other hand, have sullen and expressionless employees--and Managers--who are often rude, almost always unfriendly, and who take the longest with the deposit transactions I go there to make. They do not care about customer service, and leave people waiting in line instead of doing their best to help their customers get their business done in a timely manner.

Again, the contrast is extreme. It always feels like the employees at this Bank of America branch are unhappy, discontent and sluggish, while the other banks have smiling happy people who are efficient, full of energy, and who enjoy their jobs. If our clients didn't have accounts at BofA, I would never visit this branch again. I certainly don't recommend them to our new clients, or to anyone else!
