Today I went to the Comerica on 13650 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn Mi. I went to get some papers out of my deposit box and was in a rush. I checked the time and it was 12:35pm.
I waited and 2 other customers came after me. I asked Jack in the lobby and he didn't say anything, he just held up his finger indicating "one minute". One of the other customers also waited to access his deposit box and the other wanted a notary. The one that need his box talked to Jack and asked him "how much longer?" Jack said "until i finish..."(I didn't hear the rest). So we waited and waited. Jack comes around with his lunch and tells us that she (the manager) will be be with you in a bit. I DON'T CARE HOW HUNGRY YOU ARE, you don't LEAVE 3 customers WAITING and go to lunch.
So I go and wait where he pointed. I check the time and it was already 1pm. I go to the manager and I see her working with the customer that came AFTER me. WTH!?!?! So I tell myself a notary probably is important even if I'm in a rush. So i kept waiting.
Finally it was about 1:10 and I went back to the manager. She had a teller (Nadia) in her office. I asked the NADIA as she came out of the office "how much longer do I have to wait..?" and she told me she "I don't know. I'm not waiting on you." REALLY? What kind of customer service is this? I'll tell you it's not customer service at all. I'm not the type to yell and make a scene but I was VERY close. I've NEVER be close to yelling at any one and that says A LOT. I finally got the manager to get to my box. When I got done it was already 1:15.
This isn't the first time this has happened but this is THE WORST. I had TO WAIT 40 MINUTES and I didn't even last a minute down stairs. Once the contract is up I'm canceling my deposit box and going with Bank of America and having my husband cancel his account as well. I CANT DEAL WITH THIS ANY MORE AND I SHOULDN'T HAVE TOO. Be far the worst service ever, and I thought Huntington had slow service.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?
