TD Bank Branch Customer Reviews

Worst Bank Ever!
Who charges $18 to DEPOSIT money into your own account? TD Bank does, if it's transferred electronically from another bank. They'd rather have you spend ten minutes having a teller review your deposit slip, stamp your check, and manually enter the amount into their computer, then wait for the check to clear! With all that extra work, no wonder they started charging $2.50 to use your debit card in other banks' ATMs (I remember when Commerce used to REIMBURSE debit card fees).
Tellers are now surly and defensive, probably from all the customer complaining. I can no longer deposit checks made out to my nickname because they are incapable of keeping track of an AKA (funny how Citibank has no problem doing this).
On November 28, 2012, TD Bank is instituting a whole slew of ridiculously petty charges and increasing their already high fees. For instance, Plus Money Market and Select Money Market accounts will require a $10,000 minimum balance in order to avoid a $15 monthly fee. Young Saver, their special account for kids, will now require a $250 minimum balance to avoid a $5 monthly fee.Thank you for your feedback Is this review helpful?
