Real estate website Zillow has released a new mobile application for Android based phones, which lets users access the Zillow home value database from their smartphone.
Home Shopping on the Go
With the new Android app from Zillow, you can now shop for a home simply and instantly, from anywhere. You can even utilize your phones GPS to locate a home you have walked or driven by, and update the Zillow map with home values around you. The app also uses Google Street View so you can see what the home would look like even if you aren’t able to be standing right in front of it.
Homes for Sale
The app is useful whether you are looking to buy, sell, or rent a home. For sellers, you are able to post photos, details and contact information that shoppers can access fro their phone, letting them take a peek inside your house before they even call to set up a walkthrough.
The app also lets the potential home buyer search for homes and filter along different criteria, including prices, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the type of listing such as sale, rent, moving, and more.
Expanding from iPhone
A Zillow app has been available for the iPhone since April of last year, and saw nearly one million downloads of the app during that period. Zillow hopes that the Android app will make the same services available for the growing number of users who have Android based mobile phones.
