Only days after the official launch of the iPad, several financial companies already have applications up and running. Most notably, E-Trade, NASDAQ and Thomson Reuters have all developed new apps for the iPad, or expanded on their applications that were already available for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
E-Trade’s free Mobile Pro app fits the specifications of the iPad perfectly, by offering a combination of the iPhone app and some additional features that are available on their full service site. NASDAQ and Reuters also take advantage of the added computing power of the iPad to offer more sophisticated features I their iPad apps than they were able to with the iPhone version.
It will be interesting to see what kind of features are added as more applications roll out in the coming weeks. Be sure to check out MyBankTracker.com’s application to access financial news, bank locator tools and more right from your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.
