This week, a website with a Russian domain allegedly revealed personal financial information of various celebrities and political figures. In addition to Social Security numbers, addresses and contact information, the site posted the credit reports of some of these famous people. The exposed data has not been confirmed as legitimate information — it could all be a hoax. But, Experian, one of the three major credit bureaus, has confirmed that it is investigating unauthorized access to several consumer credit reports (without naming names).


If the data is real, it offers a glimpse at celebrities’ relationship with debt (if they even have any).
