Customers weren’t too happy with Citi’s loan programs and their banking fees. Some were frustrated by the online banking experience. User Marq writes,

The online system is full of bugs. I’ve had many problems with Citibank’s online system in dealing with credit cards and personal banking. I had two credit cards set up for automatic payment, everything was working fine until three months later. For some reason the system glitched and one of my payments didn’t go through. I called to complain, they fixed the problem, but then they cut my credit limit all the way down to my balance.

Others like Karen F really like Citi’s Everything Counts account,

I signed up for the Citibank Everything Counts account while I was a student. It was a great plan! Gave me free checks at no cost to me and I can still order free checks, even post-graduation. ATMs are worldwide; I was able to access my account in China. Money transfers are easy, online and at the ATM. Highly recommended service.
