Within a few weeks, the new school year will begin. The National Retail Federation projects that U.S. families will spend an average of $630.36 on apparel, shoes, supplies and electronics for their back-to-school shopping sprees. The total U.S. spending on back-to-school items is expected to reach $24.9 billion.
