The Capital One Secured MasterCard may not be the secured credit card with the lowest annual fee or the lowest APR, but the card comes with a neat tool that could help keep cardmembers on track to building -- or rebuilding -- their credit profile.
With an annual fee of $29 and a regular APR of 22.9%, the Capital One Secured MasterCard appears less competitive than the secured credit cards offered by other major banks. The one edge that the card has is the Credit Tracker tool, which offers a credit simulator and TransUnion credit score.
The major advantage of the card is that a $49 minimum secured deposit will get you a minimum credit line of $200.
- $29 annual fee
- Regular variable APR of 22.9%
- Credit line of $200 - $3,000
