Applied a loan with the bank and basically i am working with robot during the process. The person who deal with my loan is not a professional and did not ask the right question. It is a totally wasting my time (20+ days) and money ($500+). Emails do not work well, fax is the only way to communicate and many time even not work. I have to fax the same documents again and again couple time and they still claim not received them. I have to print them out and bring them to the local branch, and they still send me auto-generated emails saying missing documentations.
Unbelievable. I filed a complain with their mortgage department, they do not even bother to return my email. I applied new mortgage and several refinance before and all of those are very straightforward and never has a problem. I always have a person to work with and call will be picked or returned. My calls to td always go to voice mail and the voice mail stated they will return my call within 6 business hours, but i never got any returned calls. I do not understand why they even bother to have a such broken mortgage processing department. They should all be fired. How they can claim america's most convenient bank? It is truly a shame. Stay away from them for any loan application. I won't recommend it for anyone.
I had tried to make a deposit into my attorney trust account at the River Edge branch and was informed that my account had been closed due to inactivity. I asked the manager if she could reopen my account but she wasn't very accommodating at all and told me that I had to come back with some forms.
So I called the North Maple Ave branch where I had opened my account and spoke with William Martinez. It was almost 5 pm and the bank was about to close.I explained to William that I would not be able to get to the bank for two days because of my crazy schedule and William took care of things by reopening another account.
At 6pm, I drove to the drive-through and was greeted by William who presented me with the forms for my signatures. I am truly impressed that William went above and beyond to provide such exceptional customer service.
I would have been happy enough that William was able open a new account for me and I had expected William to leave the forms with the drive-through teller, but he stayed an hour after closing even in the terrible icy weather.
Because of William, I was able to timely deposit a large escrow check safely into my attorney trust account. If only other employees/branches would follow William's cue, dealing with banks would always be a pleasure. THANK YOU WILLIAM!!!
This is the most accommodating bank there is and they have the lowest fees. They're open every day, there is never a long wait, they know my name, they're dog friendly, etc etc etc....why bank anywhere else? I hope BOA and WF lose all of their business to TD!
