When I first opened my account with chase I thouthe "This is going to be a nice thing..." WRONG... To my surprise, once they had me as a customer it was an up hill battle to make a sinple carpayment with them. I was repeatedly told to pay my car payment over the internet or phone by 2 of the tellers. I felt like a child being scorn by my mother. I did not have internet at that time. Then every month I went in there for 3 years I would be sent to one of the assistants so they could help me with "MY PROBLEM" for a simple car payment.The two older teller ladys just dont have the time to deal with anyones questions. In the process of being "Helped" ??? I somehow sighned up for paperless statements and billing that no one could fix. Almost made me late with some payments. Hmmm... again "my problem". When I first opened my account I was told I qualified for a credit card, 500$ limit. She had looked at my credit information and my car loan information which by the way was 21.5% intrest rate for a 09' ford focus and said I already qualified, I recieved my denial paper pretty quickly though. When I went down there to close my account because I was lied to, all I got was line after line of all the things I would have to go through to close my account and fees dont forget the fees, which would tie up my money for the next two weeks, or so I was told. No help from no one not even over the phone just the run around. I tried to get a credit card each year, but NO,NO,NO. Told me my credit was to bad. I refinanced my car for 6.99% at another bank and got approved for a credit card just days after I went to chase and they denied me for a refinance and credit card again due to "poor credit". The other bank told me I had "good credit" and they would love to have me as a customer. I am happy not to have to deal with chase anymore. They dont help they just take and take and take...
I always thought big banks like chase or US bank had this funky practice where they treat everyone like prisoners or something. The reason I developed this concept was because of interesting people on the internet..
The people who work at chase are extremely nice and seem genuine. These ice is excellent and I like how they utilize their ATM machines. I never really had a issue with them mainly because I don't have any major thing going on like mortgages or auto loans but my overall experience is pretty positive. I also like how honest my local banker was. He told me cool stories too.
I AM A CERTIFIED TAX PREPARER. I HAVE HAD MY CHASE CHECKING ACCOUNT FROZEN SINCE 2/08/2014. I WAS TOLD THAT IT LOOKED LIKE FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY WITH ACCOUNT. I HAVE PRODUCED A BUSINESS LICENSE, A TRADE NAME CERTIFICATE, MY EIN NUMBER, PTIN NUMBER, TAX CLIENTS WITH 2 FORMS OF ID, ETC. EVERY TIME I CALL THE 1-800 NUMBER I AM TOLD A DIFFERENT STORY BY A DIFFERENT PERSON EACH TIME. I HAVE BILLS THAT ARE PILING UP AND ACCRUING LATE FEES AND CAN'T BE PAID BECAUSE CHASE WILL NOT RELEASE MY TAX PREPARATION FEES NOR MY PERSONAL TAX REFUND TO ME. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE MY KIDS AND I END UP HOMELESS.
