I have a bunch of money at Chase and they sent me a letter
That they are closing my four checking accounts , I have never written a bad check. I keep very high balances
What is going on? Anyone else have that experience
We need to tell everyone not to bank with them. They are most likely going under!!
I was looking around for refinancing my house. My house value when I checked in Zillow, Trulia and several other sites is coming to around 475 K. My loan balance is 420 k and so I knew I dont satisfy the 80% LTV criteria for conventional loans. Suddenly I come across this Chase bank site that has a link to check my house value. Lo and behold it shows the value of my house as 525 K. I checked several other sites and all showed my home value to be 475 K give or take 5 k. SO HOW COME CHASE SITE THINKS MY HOUSE IS WORTH 525 K. So i applied for a refinance application. The Chase person called and took every possible documentation from me the complete IRS returns, fee of $450 and pay stubs and bank statements and what not. Then they order a appraisal and surprise! the appraisal report comes at 475 K. Now the Chase people tell me they cannot refinance unless I pay down about 40 K . DOH! The question is why is the Chase site estimating the value of my house at 525 K when every other site including Zillow and Trulia and Bank of America and other banks are estimating at 475 k. I think this is a scam by Chase bank to lure people into applying for refinance loans .
On Black Friday I lost my pocketbook. I lost my drivers license and my bank card and all my credit cards. I do have my temporary drivers license, with no picture on it. I went to the branch to get a bank card, since the one that was mailed to my address, is still not there, my husband was with me too. The person who was working with me said she would ask me some questions. I told her that I use this bank card as cash/ it is impossible for me to remember every single transaction I made in last one week or so, any way I do appreciate that it is probably customer safety. In that case it would be probably better if she would just say "no" , "we can't give you a card, you have to wait for your mail", rather than asking the the same question again and again and making me feel like a stupid person.
