" First Federal Branch Manager From Hell at Centre Pointe Dr. "

I have banked with this institution for over twenty years. I had always experienced superior customer service from the River Avenue location Donna, Cindy and April are AWESOME!!! That is not the same at the Centre Pointe Dr. location. In my opinion, the branch manager, Ayana Johnson was extremely rude and unprofessional, and has no CLUE about good customer service. I left feeling as though I was a second class citizen. The tellers never smile and I can only imagine they are suffering under horrible leadership. First Federal can't be that desperate for managers to continue to allow Ayana to be the branch manager.

The River Avenue location has the best customer service I have ever experienced!! They are always helpful and extremely friendly, always treating everyone with respect.

My mistake was stopping at the Centre Pointe Drive location and having to deal with a branch manager from "HELL"!! My advise to ALL is to not bank at the Centre Pt Dr. location unless you are ready for an experience from HELL. My experience was a NIGHTMARE on 1/28/14.

I have banked here for over 20 years. Now with the new ownership and management the bank totally SUCKS!!

I have banked with this institution for over twenty years. I had always experienced superior customer service and an open line of communication. That is no longer the case. The management is rude and unprofessional. The tellers never smile anymore and I can only think they are suffering under the new management as well. Yes, I will be moving my accounts

Anita was wonderful, efficient, and very positive when I asked about refinancing my mortgage.

Yesterday I walked into the branch to inquire about the feasibility of refinancing. The teller directed me to the correct person and sent her an email to make sure she knew I was waiting. Anita, the loan officer, greeted me cheerfully and helped me through the process. Even though tons of people had been calling because of the low interest rates now, Anita took time with me and did not seem rushed or bothered with a walk-in. I then went home to complete the very easy to understand form on line. Within minutes my loan was approved. Today Anita called me to tell me the loan packet was waiting at the bank for my signatures. How much easier could that be?

Never get a mortgage with these SCUM BAGS! They will screw you over like you have never been.

They caused me to get behind on my payments! They refused to work with me, no one could ever answer any questions! I tried to get answers and they would transfer me from one to the other. They tried to steal my house by stringing me along and adding fees. I'm going to pay out my a__ to get caught up but I have no choice. It is common practice for this bank and other Mortgage Servicers to tack on as many fees as they can to try to foreclose on your home. That is how they make their money now. These scum bags are the major cause of the foreclosure problems. They have no incentive to try to work out anything with a borrower. They took the bailout money and now they are double dipping and stealing peoples houses. Read about all this online. It is becoming a major scam for them to run up fees. I plan to make a video to put on You Tube to tell the story of what this bank did to me.

A truly amazing bank

This bank has the best customer service i have ever experienced. They are always helpful and friendly with whatever you need. i did most of my banking online with them (As I had direct deposit), but whenever i came into one of their offices (which was about twice a month) they could still remember me by face and name.

You can turn off overdrafts if you want, meaning you can't withdraw money you dont have in your account. Or you can leave it on, and if you do leave it on and you overdraft more than you have, they give you 24 hours to repay the negative balance before they charge you overdraft fees. This has saved my money several times. Its the best bank i've ever had.

Overall amazing bank - however the downside is that they are only in certain parts of South Carolina and not in any other states. They are growing because of their great business strategy of treating the customer right, and recently they bought out another branch of banks in South Carolina that were going out of business.

However the military has me moving around, so i will unfortunately be forced to switch banks to one of the national banks who doesn't care about the customer as much as the money they can snatch from them in ridiculous fees. Yes, I'm talking about banks like Bank of America and Wachovia.
