Lousy online, better in person
I've B&H for years. They struggle with anything digital: Their website is crazy busy-looking and clunky to use. The ATMs work most of the time, but choke on checks enough to be annoying. Their app is flat out lousy, and only accepts checks up to $2,000. Other banks take larger checks; one suspects B&H hasn't realized they can put a hold on larger check LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. They've also gotten more like a "Big Bank" and want to charge you for every little thing. They used to give you free cashier's checks. I keep a significant balance but have to threaten to close my account to get a cashier's check. It's not worth pissing off your customer for the $6 you get for a cashier's check. It takes forever and repeated phone calls to get a replacement ATM card. B&H is slowly becoming like all the other banks.

Great Customer Service!
My mother had just passed and she didn’t have enough life insurance for me to bury her. So i called burke herbert, and mind you she lived in chicago, and there are no branches
in chicago. However they accept atm cards, but my limit was set for a small amount. The bank manager increase my limit and i was able to pay for my mother’s burial plot. Thank you so much burke and herbert!!!!!!!!!!!!!Is this review helpful?
