Their Self Directed IRA is a waste of time. Transparency lacking
Spent 4 weeks setting up an self directed IRA only to have my first investment in a private investment fund rejected. Bank won't tell me why they won't accept. Very unclear to me as to what this bank will and will not accept as an investment in a self directed account. They were very opaque and none too helpful on this topic. Just wasted a few hundred in setup and transfer fees for nothing. Will now need to move the assets elsewhere to fund my investment. Don't waste your time and money with them.
