Unfortunately, i opened a senior account at this bank upon moving to huntington several weeks ago. My bank does not have a branch here. Fortunately, i left my account opened at my old bank while i did a test run of this bank. On friday morning i gave my son a check to deposit in his account. Today it is tuesday (five days later) and although it is paid at his bank, it is not showing up in my account. I could not log into my online account.
They keep asking me to go through a process where i retrieve a code from my email within one minute. Guess what? No code was forthcoming. If you call a branch for assistance, they put you on hold. Whats the sense of having an online account if it does not work properly or within a reasonable amount of time? Now i have to go and close this account and i will probably be charged $25 for doing so. I still have an outstanding check.
