Charged a $91 Service Fee!
On 3-7-2013, I made a withdrawal in person at Hickory Point Bank of $100 from my checking account as a counter check. I specifically asked the teller how much I had to leave in the account. She said $200 when in fact it was $500. I was then charged $91 in service charges because the error was discovered until a year later. Personal banker Judy Lourash refused to issue a refund. Thereupon, I sued the bank in Macon County Circuit Court small claims. Case #14-sc-737.
