Investor Bank Thinks All Business Are Theives!
Do not use Investors Bank if you run a business. We have other established business accounts with other banks for over 15 years. Going into Investors Banks to open a simple business account, they treat you like your running some type of drug organization. Not only do they look at you funny when you tell them you want to open a business account, but they will purposely hold your funds for no reason for nearly 1 week, even if its cash. Did nothing but waste our time today, when they asked for all forms of documentation, and instead of opening the account, taking a cash deposit, and saying thank you for banking with us. They never took any deposit, they acted like we just applied for a mortgage. They took the information even copies of personal and business information and said they will get back to us in 2 business days to see if they wanted to do business with us. Then if they decide to do, they will purposely place a 2 week hold on any checks thats you deposit (understandable) but what got us to give them the middle finger and take our business elsewhere was the fact that they would place an immediate hold on your account even if its all cash or funded by cash. After hearing that we told them to go drop dead, its like hi welcome to Investors You Crook. To them your a criminal until your proven otherwise. And they have your hard earned money and they can say anything they want and use any federal regulation they want, even if its bs, to hold your money even after you have no problems. Investors Bank sound and gave us a feeling that they are nothing but trouble and would be trouble in the future, so we took our business some where else and guess what opened an account with their competition next door in 15 minutes we were good to go. Investors if you think people are theives why dont you get a clue and relieze thats why Check Systems was invested. Get a clue!

Do not use Investors Bank for your mortgage
I have had so many problems with this bank and their complete lack of communication. I went to them a year ago because they had the best mortgage rates. Ever since the loan was processed there have been problems. They do not disclose all of the random fees you will get charged, they do not disclose that you must set up and fund a checking account, and they did not disclose that they were not including my homeowners insurance payments in escrow.
Save yourself a lot of time and headaches and DO NOT BANK WITH INVESTORS BANK.

Investors Bank Toms River NJ says open to 6:00PM on 12/21/2017 on internet
On 12/21/2017 check the internet to ensure what the banking hours were for the day.
Internet information says open 9AM to 6PM (took photos). based on that when to do some transactions around 5:15PM at the Toms River branch (off Rte 37) and found front door locked. Workers were still on site. Knocked on door and they did not respond. The front door said hours were 9Am to 5PM (took photos). Based on fact this information was imprinted on door it was there for awhile. Bad news they change hours and do not customers know. To get to the bank it was a 20 minute ride. Based on incorrect information on their website and details found on the door, lack customer service, who is working there and do not knowhow to handle little things like changing business hours and other reviews on Investors, they do not care about their clients and it maybe time to find anther bank.Is this review helpful?

They don't deserve any stars
In the 25+ years we banked at Roma Savings, we were head over heels with every aspect of the bank.
Then Investors took over.
The policies are horrible and are not at all customer friendly. They constantly place holds on payroll checks and if you don't have an account, they won't even cash a check drawn on their own bank! We complained about the pay check hold and they told us to write our saving account number on the back of the check as opposed to the checking account number. This assures our bills will be paid and the checks will be held against the non fluid account. We have repeatedly done this no fewer than 9 times in the last couple of months. Before I couldn't tell you what the inside of the bank looked like. Now I know every little detail. They even went as far as holding a cash deposit. State income tax return? A 15 day hold! Please note that these occurrences were at 3 different branches.
While most banks, that charge a fee when an account gets below a certain balance, take an average and factor it in, Investors tacks a fee on when your account (that has an average daily balance of $7,000.00 dips below their minimum for a few hours. There are also several other questionable things that we needed to call for or go in about.
To leave a favorable comment about this bank would be a disservice to any of their potential customers. We gave them ample time to smooth any of the wrinkles that occur when opening a new bank. We stayed patient and polite, but now we are moving on.Is this review helpful? -

Constant Mortgage posting Errors
I understand mistakes happen, but when a regular mortgage and line of credit are paid up extra and your payments are not posted, I lose patience. This is my 5th mortgage co and the worst. They need to hire people that are capable of handling accounting posts. They also need to include Homeowners insurance paid through mortgages instead of saving their own fees. Customer service is polite, but I personally do not appreciate the risk of my credit showing late payments or none at all due to an incompetency. Three strikes your out.

Investors Bank Is Horrible!!
I've been a home owner for 15 years, had loans with multiple lenders, and have gone through refinance/home equity loan processes a few times. None of my past experiences can compare with the trouble i have now with investors bank. Not only are they stuck in the 80's with the lack of online bill pay, they continue to charge me a late fee and show my account as having a double payment due, every billing statement. I pay my mortgage, through bank of america's online bill payment system, two days before it is actually due.
Granted, it may not post by the actual due date, but there is a grace period, which after speaking to a rep, is 17 days, before they assess a late fee. At first, i was caught off guard by this, but accepted responsibility and drove to the local branch to pay the late fee the first time. I was told that this was an error and should not happen again. Well, low and behold, i open up my statement, and bam, another late fee and double payment required. I looked up my banking statement, and it shows the payment clearing on the 3rd, when it's due on the 1st.
Why the late fee? I checked my credit report after the first time and it appears as a late payment. The rep i originally spoke to informed me that it would be removed. Guess what, it's still there. I am currently researching fraudulent charges and practices with the federal reserve before i speak to my attorney. I may be wrong with this, but to me, something is not kosher. The plot thickens. Moral of the story, i would avoid investors bank at all costs!

Do not get a mortgage with Investors Bank
Investors Bank notified me by paper mail (snail mail) of an upcoming change to my monthly payment amount. I am inundated with paper mail and I sometimes fall behind in reading it. It was also during the busy holiday period at the end of the year and I was working very long hours because I work for an investment bank. Because I missed reading the paper letter, I did not add on the additional $20 to my automatic monthly payment which is over $2000. Once I spotted the paper notice I sent them the additional $20 electronically from my bank account. It takes Investors Bank 2 days to process an electronic payment, so the $20 ended up posting 1 day late. Investors Bank did NOT try to call or email me to notify me that they were going to report the $20 shortfall that posted 1 day late as a MISSED PAYMENT to the credit bureaus. When I called Investors Bank and explained what they did to me, they told me to fax them a letter and that they would have the MISSED PAYMENT removed from my credit report. You can guess what happened next. I wrote the letter and faxed it to them and then they did nothing. Do yourself a favor and go to Quicken Loans. They will call you if they see anything unusual happening in your account or if you are even close to missing a payment.

Bank cant handle bank books correctly -- play with your money with out you knowing !!!
Where do I start -- got a Christmas Club account check with 600.00 missing. The deposit is in my book, but bank says its not mine. They cant show me video footage of coming into bank, they say they only hold video 90 days , they cant show me deposit slips, and they cant tell me what terminal put in the "erroneous" deposit, but they say I didn't put it in even though the book shows same day every month. Now I go and deposit the Christmas Club Account Check in to my other book and they tell me the book balance does not match the computers balance that I had more money in the book than was showing. This was because of an internal mistake 13 months ago ! -- so I carried the wrong balance 13 months they did not update my book in 13 months -- so who was gonna take that money ? come to find out they mistakenly took it out made the withdrawal in my book but never put the deposit in my book -- with out me knowing a thing -- this is not the way banking is suppose to be. I don't trust them -- taking out my accounts -- tired of the underhanded games they play with my money. -- Take your money out and run far away from investors !!!

-Closed my teenage son's account and then refused to cash their own bank check because he didn't have an account with them!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, you just closed his account and issued him a bank check!
-Refused to accept a Power of Attorney document that was accepted by five other banks with no problem. They wanted their exact wording and expected the customer to pay a lawyer hundreds of dollars to re-write the notary notation with the language they wanted.
-Took nearly three weeks for them to tell me the Power of Attorney document was declined.
-WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED FROM A BANKING INSTITUTION.
-CLOSING ALL ACCOUNTS AS SOON AS THE POWER OF ATTORNEY DOCUMENT IS APPROVED AND WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INSIDE THIS BANK AGAIN.Is this review helpful? -

I have 5 accounts and u have been locked out now 5 times in the last two weeks. Today I waited on hold for 20 minutes to be told that Investors Bank doesn't support the Safari browser. What? I'm taking all my accounts, all my money and my valuables out of the safe deposit box and going to another bank. Bye.
