Ultra conservative bank
As an 8 year customer of Johnson Bank, I have had NOTHING but problems with them. Their mission statement is merely a bunch of words in their ultra conservative environment. When the housing market took a dive in AZ they worked with us to modify our loan. They didn't do anything to mitigate issues, they just reworked some numbers, we were still fully obligated to every singe cent despite the property being worth 1/12th the cost. And while many people would say, we should be grateful, the process and how they took advantage of us would surely change your mind. Nothing that they did or said radiated their mission statement, they basically put a noose around our neck and each loan renewal they tightened it further and further, knowing we would either have to foreclose or just keep paying. I compare it to being raped, because that is exactly how I feel. Our personal morals would not allow us to foreclose, so we just keep getting raped by this bank day after day after day! I would highly recommend you think twice about doing business with this bank. Their offices are decorated lavishly because they rape their customers of $$. I want a bank that truly lives by their mission statement and does what is right for the customer and the community, even if it means a financial compromise. That is NOT Johnson Bank, that don't stand behind their customers, nor the communities for which they do business!
