Beware the details and be sure to call if what is promised does not happen in a timely manner.
I set up a money market account. I asked before going to the bank if I could withdraw my money at anytime and if there was any penalty. I was told "no" when I called before setting up the account and twice in the process, at the bank. The truth is, there is a fee of $25 if you withdraw your money before 90 days. Lesson learned - do not believe what you are told, read all the documents before signing.
I was told I would receive checks for this account within 2 weeks. As I didn't need the money urgently I gave the bank a month. The checks never arrived. I called the bank and apparently the checks were never mailed. I asked for a counter check and was told it would be mailed out that day. Five days later, one hour away, I still had not received the check. I was told that sometimes the mail-room/post office takes a day or two to process the mail; but taking this into consideration it was still more than enough time. I needed to get my money as I am in the process of buying a house. I sent a message asking for my account to be closed and for them to send me a check as soon as possible, fee free because of their inability to get me checks so I could access my money. This was done. I received my check/money within a day. It's been a week now and that counter check still has not arrived :/

Lousy on-line banking.
This bank offering "high" yield on-line savings/money market account has the most primitive and user-unfriendly software I know of. A real hassle to open and maintain account services.
