We have had wonderful years and great customer service before Riverwood bought out First Federal Bank in or around 2006. Riverwood ignored the old adage, when something isn't broken, don't fix it. They immediately changed out almost all of their knowledgeable personnel for new and inexperienced employee's. Changed the atmosphere in a terrific way.
Riverwood then proceeded to remove all the good credit reporting and performance history that one had and was relevant to First Federal's many years. Fee's changed, some of new personnel notably unhelpful and also very unfriendly. With that the Bank became empty. Many original customer's left. We stayed, with much remorse now as my son is trying to work with a Bank for the very first time and with very little credit history and to show their benevolence for our many years of good standing, they have treated him with such poor taste and indifference that his first experience with a Bank has left a bad taste in his mouth.
It is with much regret that I offered him shelter with a 'home town' Bank such as this. Their Federal and Statewide rating's show what happens when you again, you try to fix what is not broken. I apologize to my son.
