Mortgage division fails to pay Home Insurance from escrow

I refinanced an investment property in April and in October received a cancellation notice on my homeowners insurance due to non-payment. When I called customer service I was told that the bill was due on October 14th yet it was the end of October. It was paid last minute and the insurance wasn't cancelled. Long story short, I was told that I should remind Colorado State Bank and Trust when my insurance premiums are due and confirm that they paid the bill, even though this is escrowed.

I have two mortgages through this bank and also dislike the payment coupon. It does not state the property address on the coupon only my mailing address. The only way for me to determine the property is based on what I know the mortgage amount to be.

So, I will mark it on my calendar to call the bank to remind them to pay my escrows!
