I Just Love This Amegybank Branch And The Branch In Dickinson, Texas.

I love amegybank. Both locations they treat you like you are family. I think i have been with them for about 12 years plus or minus a year. They are just friendly, courteous and always smiling people. Amegy have always helped me out in difficult situations, and it didn't matter that i am not a customer with a six figure deposit in their bank. I will be with Amegy forever and a day!

Worst customer service ever!

In the past two years that I have been with this bank I have had my debit card canceled with no notice three times. Every time it takes about a week and a half to get a new one so I am stuck using a credit card for the time. This bank has great interest rates and they seem to think that that justifies rudeness and a complete disregard for the needs and expectations of there customers. Every other bank I have ever done business with sends a new card to the customer and cancels the old card when the new on arrives, with Amegy, be prepared to have a plan B and don’t even think about using you debit card for recurrent billing for services because you have no guarantee that it will work tomorrow or if they will decide that there has been some unspecified “security issue” with the card and that the number needs to be changed instantaneously. This has become such a problem for me that I actually use it as an example of poor customer relations and responsiveness when I am teaching.

Amegy now steals from disabled veterans.

I am a combat veteran with 22 years of service and I have had an account for about 8 years that is used as a deposit account for my V.A. disability. As of November 30, 2013 the bank started stealing $10 a month from my account as a "Service Fee". When I called to find out what was going on, all they could do was change the account to a new type, but it still would have service fees.

I've notified all my family and friends that have Amegy accounts, and everyone of them say they will be closing their accounts. I'm definitely closing my account because I don't think they should be collecting a fee on my years of service and my service connected disability.
