Another Facet Of Paradise

What a pleasure it is to bank there. Mr. Gomes & his staff are pleasant, obliging & very knowledgeable. It is a joy ( having recently moved from n. Y. ) to be greated personally & with a smile. Again, yet another facet of paradise. Thank you to mr. Gomes & his great staff. Charles & nina mayer

Worst Customer Service Experience Ever

I had an issue, I called and spoke with multiple reps, none seem to care about fixing it. Did not feel like a valued customer. The support pointed blame at me, took no responsibility and offered no solution. Very disappointed with this bank and not the type of service expected. Would not recommend this bank, nor do I plan to stay with this bank.

For the most part experience has been excellent until recently

Several months ago I had an issue with NSF fees. I felt the fees were invalid based on the evidence I presented. The branch manager Mary Meche ( Scott LA branch) attempted to try to spin the evidence i showed her and come up with various arguments. Everytime I countered the argument with evidence she had to hesitate for several minutes to try to make sure the bank was right. When I asked politely if I could go to a higher authority she told me " they are not going to listen you anyway!". Of course , I went above her and faced a similar issue. I spoke kindly of Ms Meche to the VP of branches and still received some resistance . I became irate and left the main branch. I did get my issue resolved by going higher and after threatening to go to the State Office of Financial Institutions the executive relented. That was the only complaint I had in 5 years .

Recently, I called the bank a few weeks ago and stated that I was making a deposit the next day and could they cover a check that was coming in. ( they always have in the past). I was called by Ms. Meche and received a tongue lashing and she stated that she could not cover any checks until I made a deposit today . She spoke with me very angrily and very combative. When I attempted to ask further why she was doing this she abruptly hung up on me. Being the kind person I am I chalked it up to she is having a bad day

I recently paid a cell phone bill by check online and the check came through the same day as our payroll deposits. I had the money to cover the check but for some reason MS. Meche returned it . I went into the bank to ask why and seeing that I did not want to confront Ms. Meche I walked into the assistant managers office before I could even ask a question Ms. Meche saw me and stormed into the office stating in a very angry voice " everything has to be approved by me!!!"I have written the CEO with this conceding the unprofessional conduct.
