Horrible. Opened a checking account online to take advantage of the skymiles offer. Changed my direct deposit at work and closed my account with wachovia. A week later i get a letter in the mail from suntrust stating my account has been closed "at our discretion"-- that's it. No explanation, nada. I call them-- still no explanation.
Went to branch-- no explanation. Basically "we just felt like it". My credit score is roughly 750 and i keep an average $5k balance in my checking. All i can say is "wow". Just for that, i closed my auto loan with them. Hope they enjoy losing business from good, loyal customers.
They are rude, inconsiderate and don't have any idea how to act to keep a customer. They should have classes showing them how to treat their customers. Marcus Lamar treated me like crap on his "high horse" just because he is on the other side of the desk. This branch should really just shut down.
I went to cash in my check from work and the first time i went to this location the man working did this for me with no problems. Two weeks later i go back and get the lady on the left side and she told me that i didn't have enough money in my account to deposit my check and that i cant deposit it anyways since the check is from a different bank. Next time i'll just go to my usual bank in powell where i've never had an issue!
