    Good Bank...Bad Self Service Systems

No complaints about the bank as a whole. ATM's everywhere, great employees. Outstanding customer service.
But if you do most of your banking online or over the phone, their systems are usually down, don't give you any options, (such as choosing an account or trying to transfer funds) and will leave you high and dry till they come back online, get fixed, or until a banking center opens.

My wife and I have been with Glacier bank for over seven years and we are terminating our relationship.

This bank constantly has problems with broken ATM's. When you need money the most the ATM is down. We recently received a check from Corporate that was incorrectly labeled. The check was labeled "CD interest check" When inquiries were made we were informed this was actually our annual minimum distribution check for our IRA. There was no cover letter with the check. When we objected to this procedure the bank personnel at corporate seemed annoyed. We were told "This is the way we do it."When we told the bank this would confuse many people especially the elderly the bank stated "The IRA interest checks are used for annual IRA Minimum distribution checks." Do business with this bank at your own peril. We have had it."There are other complaints too numerous to list.

You Could Not Ask For A More Accommodating Banking Service. When One Thinks Of "values & Ethics" That Is Glacier Bank.

Myself owning a construction company in the flathead valley, understand the value of a strong financial institution. No doubt about it there have been some hard times in the construction business not only here in montana but nationally. There is no worse feeling like have to feel like your walking in with your hat in your hand asking for help. Not once did i ever feel looked down upon or any level of rejection due to my situation. The team of people that glacier has is in my opinion second to none. I does not matter what one is trying to take care of, whether its an auto loan, home loan, business loan, these guys/gals are top notch.

They have helped me through the hard times and i will never forget that. I tell many people that the influence of success for my company has been greatly influenced by this help from glacier bank. Im a young business owner at 29 now but having starting my own construction company when i was 20 years old it was tough. This bank i feel took me under their wing if you will. I love the fact that they all know that the time they take out of their busy days to give advice to me is absorbed and implemented to the best of my ability. To sum it all up, i dont know how there is any way one could find a better bank to work with. From bill goldberg and compass construction, glacier bank thank you!
