    New Management Rude!!!

We have done business with guaranty bank for the last 8 years, have given them over $150,000 in that time. Our banker retired and new management is absolutely rude. I have never been treated so cold in my life. We have even told that the new president is too good to talk to us, we are so low apparently. Can't believe a business can actually verbally tell you something like that and get away with it. Plan on moving on asap.

Not good. Guaranty Bank and Trust Company is called "BEST BANK" in Georgia.

I opened a Best Bank account in a Kroger Grocery store with a $50 free money lure. One day later, I am trying to set up online banking with Best Bank (a/k/a Guaranty Bank and Trust Company) and have had to call their Customer Service Department four times to get the process done (and I am a very technical person having been a Network Administrator for many years). I was "locked out" or "timed out" of my online account and the CSR said that I would have to wait at least thirty minutes in order to get back in to a locked out or timed out account. That is outrageous. The timed out occurred because as I was signing up for Mobile Banking, I did not receive a text to my cell phone and needed a code in order to proceed with mobile banking enrollment. As of this writing, they do not have a Mobile App (which I was told they did when I opened the account at Kroger) so that I can deposit checks via my android phone. The hold times to talk to a CSR at the bank are ridiculously long (and was hung up on once by a CSR who allegedly could not hear me on speaker phone with my cell phone). I would not have joined this bank had I seen the terrible reviews online at this site before I opened the account. Now they are saying that there is a $50 early closing of the account if I want to scratch the transaction and get my $30 I deposited to start the account. I would not open an account with Best Bank a/k/a Guaranty Bank and Trust Company. Out of the 4 calls I had to make to the Cust Service Dept., only two of the CSR's were helpful. I have to wait 120 days in order to close the account (without a penalty), but that I will definitely do!
