    Shocking

    I have remained loyal to this small town bank for over 25 years. My husband would question why when I paid ATM fees to withdraw cash out of town. Well, shame on me for wasting my money!

    This bank closed my account which was not known by me, took a large deposit which I could not access by my ATM card (they canceled it) or by withdrawal (told they did not have large amounts at branches).

    I was on the phone with 5 different people with five different stories wasting my entire day and holding up my funds for days.

    My account was closed due to inactivity over a 14 day period of which I was not notified of. I had banked with them for over 25 years and they have called for various reasons in the past. Why not this time?

    Why did they take a deposit from me if my account was closed by them?

    Never again! The loyalty sure wasn't appreciated or respected on their end.

    HORRIBLE

    This bank used to be the best bank around. Not sure what happened in the last few years. They take forever to get back to you and take much longer than their availability policy to make your money available to you. I was told the other day, when I asked why my online balance was not up to date with my expenditures they told me there was nothing they could do about it? The online statement wasnt showing my past purchases or any pending transactions making it had to know exactly what amount was in my bank account. The only reason I signed up for online banking was to escape the lengthy process of updating my checkbook everytime I made a purchase. But seems as though that was just a waste of my time. And when I deposit a check, that should be available the next business day and it takes 3 business days for them to make the funds available and they charge me an overdraft fee because THEY took to long?! youve got to be kidding me. WORST BANK by far in the Fauquier area. I am closing my account TODAY and switching banks.
